Late nights, on the phone letting you profess your feelings while I stare at the TV display. Your lips moving so feverishly while neon strobes seem to intoxicate the mixed feelings between us. How can we feel nothing and everything in the middle of this June heat wave. We will never be right for each other. You would think since we know this, we would stop our childish attempt at preserving our love like daisies in the sweltering sun.
